Our jobs and salaries are at risk when goverment is trying to sort out the financial problem in NHS. In my opinion, running and promoting private wards would be the answer. At the hospital where I work, there is a private ward, but a little people know about it. In fact the same consultants are working in BUPA and hosptial. Here is the news article about job cut in NHS
